Natural Clay Feature Wall for Eco-Hair Salon

Some lovely finished photos of the natural clay feature wall created for Amanda’s Eco House of Hair on Tamborine Mountain.

This natural clay wall enhances health + wellbeing in the new salon by:

  • absorbing VOC’s (from any off gassing chemicals)
  • regulating humidity (an important item in hairdressing salons)
  • releasing negative ions (improves wellbeing like being near the ocean or forest)
  • repels dust (dust is positively charged and wont stay on the wall)
  • natural material that is sustainable, renewable and resuable
  • beautiful textural aesthetic
  • enhances good feng-shui

Amanda has been very happy with the new feature wall as have her clients who enjoy the beauty of it and aligns with her sustainable and eco-focused brand.

Her eco-salon was the first to integrate organic, low-toxic and sustainable products and methodologies on the mountain.  She has researched for years to find and stock hair products that are: organic, made locally (in the sunshine coast), have the highest reduction of toxic chemicals and have sustainable packaging and recycling processses.

It’s wonderful to then build on these green + sustainable practices by integrating natural features and materials into the new renovations in the right way. It can be seamlessly done to integrate with the rest of the space and create natural features that provide many health + wellbeing benefits to the people in the space. A win-win for everyone!
